Nothing compares to hearing a group of men singing together at Mass, except perhaps the joy of the men who get to do the singing. Be one of those men!
We invite all men to join our new vocal ensemble, The King's Men, which will serve at only one Mass per month - at 7:30 am, every third Sunday of the month. Rehearsal is at 7:00 pm in the church on the (2nd) Friday before 8:00 pm Compline. This time commitment is small but the reward to your soul extraordinary, because "he who sings prays twice."
No music reading is necessary, just the willingness to sing the hymns, Gloria, and other service music as you feel comfortable doing it.
And ... a home cooked, hot and hearty breakfast will be served in the parish hall for everyone, following each King's Men Mass.
From the time of the Apostles to the Confessors and the Irish Bards, singing was the solace of warriors. Time to "man up." at St Patrick! We sing for Christ, with the strength of the angels; This sacrifice of praise is manhood in leadership, especially as a role model to the children, and encouragement to all who listen.

Thank you for your generosity during this pst weekend's Second Collection!
Due to your past generosity, we have been able to assist neighbors in London and surrounding Madison County who come to us in need. In March, we helped two families avoid homelessness by assisting with security deposits for apartments, and helped another two families keep utilities from being shut off. We continued our monthly meal for the Help House clients, and also provided a meal for those who visit the Welcome Table. Thank you for providing the financial resources that enable us to continue this important work. For more information, feel free to contact conference president Jake Froning ([email protected]) or secretary/treasurer Erin Morris ([email protected]).
Society of St. Vincent de Paul
St. Patrick Conference
Fall 2022 Update
The mission of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is “a network of friends, inspired by Gospel values, growing in holiness and building a more just world through personal relationships with and service to people in need.”
The St. Patrick Conference of St. Vincent de Paul is funded primarily by the quarterly special collection envelopes parishioners receive with their offertory envelopes. Many thanks to the parishioners who use these envelopes.
During the fiscal year ending September 30, 2022, the St. Patrick Conference was revitalized and now includes 17 active and associate members. Past president Dick Hirst and past treasurer Pat Rayburn were acknowledged by Bishop Fernandes for their many years of service to the Conference.
Other highlights for the fiscal year include:
The St. Patrick Conference meets the first Wednesday of every month at 7:00 PM in the Parish Center. New members are always welcome.
Donations can be made at any time in blank envelopes labeled “St. Vincent de Paul” and placed in the collection basket, or through the parish electronic giving site https://osvhub.com/stpatricklondon
