"Rogation" comes from the Latin verb "rogare," meaning "to ask," and Rogation Days are a very ancient tradition kept each year during which we ask for God's Mercy, appease His anger, avert His chastisements displayed in natural disasters, and ask for his blessings, particularly in regard to farming (worship aides will be available)
