The CCD Teachers are faithful volunteers from St. Patrick Parish. We are sincerely grateful for their dedication and ministry of sharing their faith. They prepare themselves by participating in the certification process laid out by the Columbus Diocese and by enriching their faith with seminars, workshops and prayer.

Classes are held in the lower level of the Parish Center. Classes begin at 8:45 a.m. and dismiss at 10:15 a.m.

We, the staff and catechists, look forward to the challenge of sharing our Catholic faith with the children of our parish who do not already attend St. Patrick Elementary School. By sharing our faith with the children, we all then fully obey Jesus’ command to “make disciples of all nations” by starting with our parish. It is our hope that as the children come to know Jesus Christ, they will begin to appreciate more fully the Catholic faith as well as develop an ongoing and lasting relationship with Jesus. They can then share their faith with others and thereby themselves obey Jesus command to make disciples of all nations.

We maintain that parents/guardians are their children’s primary instructors of faith. We consider our role, working with your children, a true and blessed privilege. Catholic education should begin at home, be celebrated in the Church, then extended to the catechetical program, and finally lived out in each of us . . . parents/guardians, teachers and children.
“This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God and Jesus Christ whom You have sent." (John 17:3)
